For more than a century, four generations of the Nowell family have offered quality menswear and womenswear at our Raleigh store. The selection ranges from a graduate’s first interview suit to boardroom attire for executives across the Triangle. Custom tailoring and alterations are completed on the premises. When your calendar is full, our team can meet after regular hours or bring samples to your home or office by appointment. Designers and collections change with the seasons, but our focus on fit, value, and personal service has stayed the same.

Planning your visit

Our showroom is at 1632 North Market Drive, just off Six Forks Road in North Raleigh. Free parking is available at the store. When you arrive, a clothier can walk you through sport coats, trousers, shirts, ties, and seasonal layers based on how you dress for work, weekends, and travel.

If you are updating a wardrobe, bring a favorite jacket or pair of shoes for reference on fit and color. Need a quick hem or adjustment? Ask about alterations while you shop. For after-hours fittings, call ahead so we can reserve time and pull the sizes you wear most often. Online shoppers are welcome to pick up web orders here when that option is available on your confirmation email.
